2027 AFDOSS Conference

The AFDOSS Board is still developing the agenda for the 2027 Annual Educational Conference. Please check back here again for updates as they become available.
Conference Registration
For travel estimation purposes, AFDOSS currently plans on charging the same registration fees as the 2026 AEC. Those registration tiers are as follows:
- AFDOSS Members: $350
- Local Environmentalists: $200
- Alumni/Life Members: $250
- Non-Members: $425
- Single-Day: $200
- Spouse/Guest: $150 – Full Conference & Events. Single-event tickets may be purchased onsite at the registration desk.
Hotel & Transportation
The 2027 AFDOSS AEC is in Chattanooga, Tennessee, at the Chattanooga Marriott Downtown. The negotiated conference room rate is tied to the federal per diem rate lor lodging, currently $117.00 per night, plus applicable state (9.25%) and occupancy (9%) taxes.
AFDOSS was able to obtain discounted parking rates of $15 for Self-Parking and $25 for Valet Parking. Event-day passes are available for $5, and more information will be provided prior to the meeting.
The Group Code for the 2027 AEC will be provided once the room block has been opened.
Per the terms of our contract, the cutoff date for reservations is Monday, August 23, 2027.
The Chattanooga Marriott Downtown is only 15 miles from the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA). The hotel does not provide shuttle service.
Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA)
Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM – 10:00 PM
There are no fares or fees to ride the
CARTA Shuttle. (Map – PDF)
The CARTA System operates Chattanooga’s

Live Auction

Continuing Education
AFDOSS will be applying for Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) through NEHA. The AFDOSS Annual Educational Conference contact hours for continuing education CEU's will be determined once the agenda is finalized. Forms to claim CEUs will be made available for conference attendees at the registration desk.
