UPDATE: The room block at the Park Vista is full!

The 2022 AFDOSS AEC is in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, at The Park Vista – A Hilton Doubletree Hotel.

AFDOSS has not been able to find any overflow hotels in the area that would accept our conference rate. Unfortunately, supply/demand is in the favor of the hotels, and they are reticent to match the rate we negotiated with the Park Vista.

If you are able to obtain a hotel room in Gatlinburg, you can use their trolley to get to the Park Vista. The trolley is free, and the Blue Route makes a stop at the Park Vista. This will be advantageous if parking becomes an issue during our conference. You can access the trolley’s webpage here. Trolley Map: PDF File

The majority of AEC attendees drive to Gatlinburg, and the winding route up through the Great Smoky Mountains is worth your time! For those traveling by air, the Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge Airport is located 15 miles from the hotel (a 30 minute drive), or the McGhee Tyson Airport is located 50 miles from the hotel (1.5 hours drive time). Driving directions and additional travel tips to get to The Park Vista are available online here.

AFDOSS will be applying for certification and Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) through NEHA. Please return to this page for more information as we get closer to the event.
